Business in the Community
Man Group is the sponsor of the Man Group International Climate Change
Award, presented at a gala dinner attended by HRH The Prince of Wales
and former US Vice President Al Gore. Stanley Fink, our Deputy Chairman,
hosted and chaired the judging of the award. We congratulate BSkyB on
being the first winner of this award.
The Climate Group
As members and supporters of the Climate Group, we are very pleased
to be members of the ‘We’re in this Together’ initiative, under the
aegis of the UK Prime Minister.
The membership of this group includes some of the largest companies in Britain, and offers them an opportunity to showcase their climate-friendly goods and services, and spread a positive message to their customers and suppliers.
Climate and Energy Roundtable – California
Kevin Davis, Chief Executive, MF Global, attended the Climate and Energy
Roundtable with the UK Prime Minister and Governor Schwarzenegger. This
enabled us to provide a view of the environmental issues from our industry’s
perspective.
