Coordinate the development and management of MI’s UCITS product range internally and externally ensuring a robust, economical operating model that delivers a reliable, high quality experience for investors and their advisors
Responsibilities
- In cooperation with Sales, Investment Management, Legal and Operations ensure that MI’s UCITS products are feasible, relevant and can be distributed in the target markets.
- Liaise with external stakeholders where and when appropriate.
- Coordinate practical aspects of product development and implementation between all internal parties to ensure smooth product roll outs.
- Ensure that key action points are identified, communicated and implemented in a timely manner convening inter-departmental work teams when required to ensure projects gain the necessary support.
- Coordinate the launch of UCITS funds in new territories working with the local sales teams. Ensure that relevant marketing materials are available, that pricing strategy has been agreed and that platform and distribution agreements are in place.
- In conjunction with Legal and with Compliance ensure that prospectuses, Marketing materials and all other fund collateral are kept up to date and meet all regulatory and filing requirements.
- Work with Operations and external parties to resolve any issues and advise on putting in place any new capabilities required to support MI’s UCITS business.
- Help manage and oversee all 3rd party relationships including Administrator, Auditor, Custodian and Transfer Agent for UCITS funds.
- Support Sales in managing distribution issues and particularly handling negotiations and discussions with fund platforms.
Requirements
- 5 to 7 years experience with UCITS products with a thorough knowledge of the products
- Track record of successfully managing the the expansion of such products in cross-border markets
- Strong analytical and demonstrable project management skills
- Good interpersonal and communications skills both oral and written
- Ability to prioritise, work well under pressure and work independently
- Excellent knowledge of financial markets, investment management and European/Global distribution
