We are proud of our core values and endeavour to be true to them at all times.
Our culture encourages ideas, innovation and healthy debate. Succeeding through collaborative teams of highly talented people, we’ve no regard for bureaucracy or hierarchy. It’s all about who you are and what you achieve, rather than your job title. As a result, all doors are genuinely open, and everyone has the opportunity to influence the business.
In the UK we provide lunch to employees, have our own restaurant and onsite bar for after work. We encourage people to connect with each other outside of their day to day working environment.
We appreciate people work hard and so to acknowledge and celebrate our successes, this year we hosted summer parties both in London on the Thames and in Pfäffikon overlooking Lake Zurich.
Business success doesn’t exist in isolation. In keeping with our core values, we believe that corporate responsibility and profitability go hand-in-hand – that we have a duty of trust to our people, shareholders, customers and other stakeholders.
The Man Group Charitable Trust supports local and international communities and charitable organisations. The Trust provides funding to support charitable activity in all regions where Man has a presence. Each Man office may choose to support a chosen charity, or employees can also raise funds for their charity of choice and Man will match those funds.
Since 2004, the Man Charitable Trust has supported an annual charity as selected by UK employees. In 2010, Man employees voted to support the Prostate Cancer Charity as our annual charity. The charity will receive a £100,000 donation from the Trust and will be the focus of a number of events and volunteer initiatives driven by employees during the year.
As a UK employee at Man, you can participate in the ManKind volunteering scheme. This scheme offers you an additional two days paid leave per annum to volunteer either with a charity of your choice or with one of the charities supported by the Trust.

Man is an intellectual organisation, demonstrated through our collaboration with Oxford University in establishing the Oxford-Man Institute. Run by Oxford University academics, the centre studies quantitative finance with a particular focus on alternative investments. Just one of the ways Man endeavours to be at the forefront of research and innovation.
